Consulate of Iceland in Warsaw has existed since January 2014. Primary objective of the Consulate is to providing consular assistance for Icelandic citizens residing in Poland. The Consulate also supports promotion of Polish - Icelandic relations, as well as bring closer to the Poles Icelandic language, history and culture.
I am convinced that the activity of the Consulate will allow Polish and Icelandic citizens learn more about each other, which will undoubtedly contribute to the strengthening of friendship between the Poland and Iceland.
Honorary Consul of the Republic of Iceland in Warsaw.
The 19th International Exhibition and Conferences BALTEXPO 2017 took place on September 11-13 in Gdansk, Poland. Representatives of the Honorary Consulate of Iceland in Warsaw, headed by the Honorary Consul, attended the opening ceremony.
In July, the Honorary Consul of Iceland in Warsaw had the honour to visit the Nursing Home for children and youth operated by the Sisters of st. Dominic in Broniszewice. Recently two Polish companies related with Iceland have supported the Nursing Home with an amount of 20 000 PLN.
The Consulate of Iceland held an honorary patronage over the exhibition "Nieuchwycenie stanu". One element of the exhibition will be series of photographs showing unusual and fun phenomena observed by the artist in Iceland.
The exhibition will take place between 27th of January and 26th of February in BWA Contemporary Art Gallery in Katowice.
