Consulate of Iceland in Warsaw has existed since January 2014. Primary objective of the Consulate is to providing consular assistance for Icelandic citizens residing in Poland. The Consulate also supports promotion of Polish - Icelandic relations, as well as bring closer to the Poles Icelandic language, history and culture.
I am convinced that the activity of the Consulate will allow Polish and Icelandic citizens learn more about each other, which will undoubtedly contribute to the strengthening of friendship between the Poland and Iceland.

Friday 13th April 2018, Mr. Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarson Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iceland, has submitted his annual report Annual Report on Foreign and International Affairs to the Icelandic parliament, Althingi.
During the second day of the visit the Icelandic delegation met in Warsaw with Marek Gróbarczyk – Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, Michał Wójcik - Director of Department of International Cooperation and with Marta Rabczyńska – Kapcińska – Deputy Director of Department of Fisheries.
On Tuesday, 27th of February 2018, Kristján Þór Júlíusson - Fisheries and Agriculture Minister of Iceland paid his official visit in Tricity. The Minister was accompanied by Kristján Skarphéðinsson - Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Industries and Innovation, Martin Eyjólfsson - Ambasador of Iceland in Berlin and Bogusław Szemioth - Honorary Consul of Iceland in Warsaw. Representatives of the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation of Poland have also participated in this visit, e.g. Michał Wójcik - Director of Department of International Cooperation.
